The long-awaited news
There are other interesting news, as announced a few days ago, as regards satellite telemetry. The ACMA (Aquatic Migratory Hunters Association) made them known through a special post that appeared on the official social profiles. What specifically did the association say? There is a new species in this sense.
The chosen area
Here is what we read in detail: “We went to the southern lagoon of Venice together with researchers from the University of Pisa to continue the satellite telemetry activity. We equipped another 7 coots and finally also 4 gadwalls (2 males and 2 females)”.
The future of gadwall telemetry
The ACMA then added: “We plan to continue the work with this splendid duck, expanding the number with other subjects further ahead, hoping for an abundant winter migration. We will keep you updated with the maps as always as they move." (source: ACMA).
