UNA Foundation welcomes the approval by the Senate Constitutional Affairs Commission of the constitutional bill which amended article 9 of the Constitution in the field of nature protection. Maurice Zipponi, President of the UNA Foundation, comments on this important institutional step: "The UNA Foundation has at the center of its work the protection of biodiversity, committing itself as place of collaboration between environmental, agricultural and hunting realities, on the basis of scientific and academic addresses.
We are convinced that the collaboration between all the parties has made it possible to achieve an extremely positive and far from ideological positions: the recognition of the protection of ecosystems and biodiversity, of which man, and the modern hunter understood as "champion of the territory" is an integral part. This result is the result of a collaborative model in which the UNA Foundation firmly believes and that apply daily, working side by side with numerous national and international realities to create a sustainable territorial and environmental context ".
UNA Foundation is part of the IUCN - the World Union for the Conservation of Nature - and works for the protection of biodiversity through an active commitment in identifying solutions to emergencies that threaten its balance, through the implementation of targeted activities and projects.
