Today's launches
The first day of World Cup competitions has just ended WSPS (World Shooting Para-Sport) taking place in New Delhi. At the end of today's 75 shots, the ranking of PT1, or wheelchair shooters, sees Mohammed Alhashmi in the lead with 61 targets, followed by the Italian Davide Fedrigucci from Urbino with only one target behind and a score of 60. Sandro Lecca is fifth ( Paralympic Defense Group) of Settimo San Pietro (CA) with 51.
Significant results
In the PT2 ranking, i.e. the one reserved for shooters with disabilities in the lower limbs, the Slovakian Filip Marinov is in command with an excellent 71/75, our Fabrizio Cormons from San Felice Circeo (LT) and Massimo Lanza from Rometta (ME) went at rest, respectively, with 65 and provisional third place and 63 and fifth.
Other rankings
Finally, in the PT3 sector, i.e. that of shooters with upper limb disabilities, the leader is our Gabriele Nanni (Fiamme Oro) from Sala Bolognese (BO) with 64/75, while Giancarlo Cosio from Milan is currently fifth with 36. Tomorrow the competition will continue with another 50 qualifying targets and the best six shooters of each functional classification will access the finals scheduled starting from 9.30 am Italian time (source: FITAV).
