Autostrade works at containment barriers along the carriageways against swine fever: one hundred men committed. This was announced by the company after the meeting that was held between the vice president and councilor for agriculture of the Liguria region Alessandro Piana, the Councilor for Agriculture of the Piedmont Region Marco Protopapa, the extraordinary commissioner for the emergency Angelo Ferrari and the director of the 1st section of Autostrade per l'Italia Francesco Sapio. “Due to the fact that the institutions have identified the motorway infrastructure as a natural barrier for the containment of the contagion _ explains a note from the company _ at the request of the Liguria Region Aspi had already started a redevelopment plan of about 116 km of anti-fauna network along the A7, A26 and D08 Predosa Bettole lines, anticipating and accelerating the plan reinforcement that the company had already developed and which should have had a duration of 6 years, with an investment of 12 million euro.
