La Abruzzo region has decided to publish what is its own proposed hunting calendar for what concerns the 2019-2020 season. The junta has just taken office and consequently there is a new Councilor for Agriculture, Imprudent Emanuele. The latter has convened the Regional Council of Hunting for the next 26 June. We will talk about different topics, deepening the criticisms coming from the Territorial Area of Caccia Vastese.
The most controversial aspects are the absence of pre-opening hunting and early closures as regards some migratory species. In detail, here are the dates chosen for the various ungulates and birds.
Quail: September 15-December 30, 2019
Pheasant: September 15, 2019 - January 30, 2020 (in January, withdrawals will be authorized only in UTGs that implement standardized monitoring)
