The unexpected and controversial ruling of Regional Administrative Court of Sardinia which has suspended again the collection of hares and partridges on the island could not go unnoticed. Caccia Pesca Ambiente has made it known that it is working to prepare the defensive memories, underlining the optimism regarding a reopening of this hunt by 30 September, but it was not the only intervention of the hunting associations.
For example, the Sardinian Federcaccia recalled in a press release that was released just a few days ago that, as represented in Regional Fauna Committee, already in the meeting in which the hunting calendar was approved he had made a request to the Region to defend the same even in the case of partial appeal as well as of course then defend it directly through your own lawyer. The Region has now made it known that it wants to defend the 2018-2019 hunting calendar.
To meet the requests of the island hunters, the local authority has requested that the collective hearing is brought forward to 12 September, in order to ensure the regular performance of the hunting activity. Initially, the Regional Administrative Court of Sardinia undertook to pronounce on 3 October. The Council Chamber will be brought forward and now the hunters await with confidence yet another chapter of the never-ending question it concerns partridges and hares.
