La Province of Brescia asked for new help to deal with the emergency represented by wild boars and otters, but not only. The councilor Diego Peli and some officials of the Provincial Police have in fact launched a very important appeal: as was pointed out by Peli, in fact, the fauna is oversized for various environmental and natural reasons.
Furthermore, the total number of animals is higher than the zoological equilibrium point and the territorial canons, consequently it is necessary to intervene with a certain timeliness. At the Lombardy region the approval of an extraordinary plan was requested which would allow the question to be addressed once and for all, given that the forces supplied to the Provincial Police are not sufficient.
The distress call is evident and refers to the problems that are caused to the agricultural sector by wild boars, nutria, wild rabbits, pigeons and foxes. This also means that the abatements are not working as they should, especially the underlying logic: the plans will have to be revised based on these requests.
