As disclosed by Julia Zanotelli, Councilor for Agriculture of the Autonomous Province of Trento, the junta is working to try to simplify as much as possible the regulatory framework governing the provincial hunting. The commitment is also to revise the law on hunting in this area, since it is now reached a good thirty years. As pointed out by Zanotelli herself, what is gaining ground is a process of simplification of rules relating to hunting.
In particular, this phase refers above all to the system of financial penalties and beyond. The reference text in this case is represented by "Rules for the protection of wildlife and for hunting", that is to say the Provincial Law number 24 of 9 December 1991 (the text has therefore just "completed" 27 years). The comparison with the associations of hunters is underway and it is hoped it will be as fruitful as possible.
As for the hunting fauna plan, however, the commissioner confirmed the validity of the tool used so far, therefore there are no and there will be no revisions in the coming months. The project to which the Province of Trento is aiming is to launch a table capable of involving hunters and farmers in order to adequately address thewild boar emergency.
