The Young Hunter Day organized by the Province of Milan was held on January 21st to encourage young people to love the art of hunting.
Also for this year the Province of Milan has organized the Day of the Young Hunter, dedicated to the younger children who have started hunting since the 2011/2012 season. A day that saw as protagonists the newcomers to hunting whose age is, on average, 20 years.
The event aims to encourage genuine passion for hunting among the new generation, affirm the principles of the correct sustainability of hunting and the contribution to the conservation of natural resources, and at the same time recognize the social role that hunting plays, still today, in the name of friendship and conviviality.
This year the Day of the Young Hunter, which was attended by the Provincial Councilor for Hunting and Fishing, Luca Agnelli, the president of the ATC Milano Ovest, Graziano Barbaglia, and the faunist Gianfranco Zoller, took place last Saturday at the Azienda Faunistico Venatoria Fondo Pontoni (PV), guests of the director of the company Franco Fagnani, whom the Councilor Agnelli wishes to publicly thank for his effective and appreciated collaboration.
At the end of the hunt, a convivial moment took place with all the participants and the companions who assisted them during the hunt. Councilor Agnelli gave the young hunters the certificates of participation with the hope "that the enthusiasm of the youth will accompany them for a long hunting career".
