La UNA Onlus Foundation will participate for the second consecutive edition in Terra Madre-Salone del Gusto, the most important Italian event dedicated to food and nutrition. In fact, on September 24th UNA will present the "Wild and Good" project, edited by the University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo, in collaboration with the Department of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Milan and the Italian Society of Preventive Veterinary Medicine, supported by the UNA Onlus Foundation and dedicated to enhancement of game meat.
The event, scheduled at 12:30 at the stand of the University of Pollenzo (pav. Oval - stand 6L 052) will be attended by: Maurizio Zipponi, president of the UNA Foundation Scientific Committee, Silvio Barbero, vice president of the University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo, Luca Pellicioli, referent of Wild and Good project. On this occasion, the excellent results that the project has already achieved in the Bergamo area will be presented, involving local institutions and bodies. Creating a certified and controlled game supply chain, in fact, means enhancing a faunal heritage present in many Italian territories, with enormous economic and employment potential.
