At the beginning of 2022, there are many critical issues facing the horizon of the hunting world. There Control Room of the Tuscan Hunting Associations it will meet on Monday morning to implement new measures. It is certain that a meeting will be requested from Councilor Saccardi on the two hottest issues: the Hunting Calendar and new GGVV Regulations. On the Hunting Calendar Arci Caccia, Enalcaccia, Libera Caccia and Italcaccia they have already written to the Region to ask for a swift approval of the provision, in order to allow themselves time to respond to any appeals and still save the hunting season.
The Control Room asked the councilor to present the same calendar of last year and the appeals, having regard to the questionable opinions presented by ISPRA to the European Commission, which anticipate the review dates of important species, such as thrush, woodcock, teal, etc. .. it is certain that there will be. Unfortunately, it seems that some "bad teachers" have already suggested to the Region an approval "at the last dive", in the vain hope of avoiding appeals. And what if these were to arrive astride the opening, with the effect of stopping the hunting activity? Whose fault would it be? Who should hunters pick on?
Not with us, that's for sure. With regard to the regulation of the GGVV we note that, while being able to give a positive judgment to the administration's intention to put order in a sector that was in great need of it, in the approved text there is no lack of errors and critical issues to be addressed as soon as possible. An excessive bureaucratization rate, examples of which are the ban on carrying out even minimal services and hunting activities on the same day, or the obligation, for any form of service, to wear a full uniform. And the colossal problem created by the classification of the GGVV under the Law 81 / 2008, which gives the provincial presidents of the associations the obligations and responsibilities related to the safety at work of the volunteers.
Of course, part of what we have indicated is difficult to solve, but most of the problems would have been avoided by the great absence in the policy of this Councilor: concertation. Some rumors, to tell the truth, would argue that an association had the opportunity, in some way, to view the text before approval but, being the bad teachers above, we are not surprised by the results (The Associations of the Control Room of the Tuscan Hunting Associations Arci Caccia, Enalcaccia, Italcaccia and Libera Caccia).
