Hunting: Basilicata, the Region at work on the drafting of the new Hunting Calendar valid for the 2015/2016 Hunting Season. Shared path, many meetings with the various stakeholders; a democratic approach to the hunting world.
At the end of a long period of consultation, strongly desired by the Councilor for the Environment and after the final meeting held at the Environment Department of the Basilicata Region, the Hunting Calendar for the 2015/2016 season was prepared. The technical fundamentals for its definition have been the subject of an in-depth and careful analysis by the officials of the competent Office, who have worked in close collaboration with the members of the Regional Observatory of Natural Habitats and Faunal Populations. In the document, drawn up for the 2015/2016 hunting season, all the aspects concerning the hunting activity have been analyzed. The result is that the following have been established: the species allowed for collection and the relative hunting periods, in compliance with paragraph 1, art. 18 of L.157 / 92 and L.97 of 06 August 2013 transposing the European Law 198 of 20/08/2013 which contains "Provisions for the fulfillment of the obligations deriving from Italy's membership of the European Union" ; the number of hunting days per week, which cannot exceed three and limited to Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays; the maximum daily and seasonal game bag; the start and end time of the hunting day; the training period e training of hunting dogs; the modalities for the selection hunting of ungulates (boar).
The technical meetings that were held with all the components of the hunting world: the hunting, environmental and agricultural associations, the provincial administrations and the territorial hunting areas, led to a draft of the hunting calendar that was shared for all. the points dealt with in compliance with current sector regulations. The next step will be the approval of the final draft to be submitted for the opinion of Ispra.
