On the ground and immobile, it was saved thanks to the signaling of a lumberjack and the prompt intervention of the hunters. We are talking about a golden eagle. The facts date back to yesterday, Thursday 3 December 2020, when a lumberjack contacted the concessionaire of the Wildlife Hunting Company of the Magnificent Rules of Costa and San Nicolò di Comelico (province of Belluno) after noticing a specimen of the majestic bird of prey in the Melin area.
The eagle was in evident difficulty: on the ground, although alive, it did not move. Diego Costan Davara of the Hunting Wildlife Company arrived on the spot who, with due caution, captured the animal and handed it over to the Provincial Police for appropriate treatment. “Now, let's hope the eagle can be cared for and put back in the place where she was born and lived", Underline by the Faunistic Company (Amicodelpopolo.it).
