The Fifth Section of the Regional Administrative Court of Campania expressed itself on the appeal presented by a man against the decree of Quaestor of the Province of Naples which in 2011 had revoked the port license for hunting rifle use. In 2009 this person went to the police station to declare the purchase of two new rifles, in addition to the one already held for some time.
The police realized that in reality the man was the owner of four weapons, a difference that could be explained by the fact that there had been a burglary in the house. The thugs had also stolen one of the guns and what had happened was promptly reported to the Carabinieri, albeit verbally. The revocation had been decided, however, on the charge of failure to report. The person who appealed was judged in good faith, since he considered it sufficient to communicate the absence of the rifle during the intervention of the police, a circumstance known both by the Carabinieri and by the Police.
This is why it certainly cannot be accused of being dangerous from a social point of view. As a result, the appeal was upheld and the license returned, a very important precedent, but which does not diminish the importance of the complaint in the event that a theft in the apartment.
