Hunting: Liguria, yet another and planned appeal by environmentalists on the regional hunting calendar; regret of Bruzzone, "Instrumental appeal, now we need law".
"With regret, I must once again take note that certain pseudo-environmental associations have nothing to do, except to devote themselves to bothering hunters". Thus Francesco Bruzzone, hunter and group leader of the Northern League in the Regional Council of Liguria, comments on the news concerning the new recourse to the Ligurian Hunting Calendar promoted by some associations ”. “Having said this on the appeal, which is moreover obvious and predictable, I unfortunately remark that my proposal to approve the Calendar by law was important and correct, and that even then it was worth forcing, with respect to well-known constitutional arguments. To give the hunters due certainty, now, we just have to resume the initial path and use the next few weeks to produce, by law, the provisions for the next hunting season. This provision, even if challenged by the Renzi government, will remain effective for times much longer than the hunting season ”, continues the Regional Councilor of the Carroccio.
“If approving the hunting calendar is the task of the Region, then the Region itself decides with which pen to write it, therefore what type of act to use. I hope that the majority will seize the opportunity and take advantage of the change of the Regional Councilor for Hunting, to be more sensitive to this issue ”, concludes the group leader Francesco Bruzzone.
