In Liguria wild boar hunting is extended until 31 January 2020. This was announced in a note published in the last few hours by the regional councilor for hunting, Stefano Mai. Here are his words in detail: “The wild boar hunt will continue because the contingents of the animals to be killed. To date we are around 75% of the abatements with respect to the pre-established quota.
Originally the closure established in the hunting calendar was at 6st January, however, it will continue until the collapsible quota is reached and in any case no later than January 31st, as allowed by the Law 157 / 92". Therefore, Ligurian hunters were granted another 25 days for the additional 25% of culls.
