The future of hunting
This year, finally, the sincere and affectionate wishes that, on my personal behalf, of the Presidential Office, of the Executive Committee, of the board of Auditors and of the Arbitrators, I address to all the members of Libera Caccia and to all the hunters Italians, are no longer characterized by the heavy pessimism of recent years, but by a healthy optimism that leaves us hopeful for the future of our thousand-year-old and healthy passion. An optimism that arises from the different approach that the new Executive has shown to have towards the complex hunting and environmental problems in which hunters are called upon to carry out a precious and irreplaceable work of "bioregulation", as the Ministry of Agriculture itself has defined it. agriculture, food sovereignty and forests through the mouth of its manager, the Hon. Francesco Lollobrigida.
The threat of swine fever
Continuing to consider modern hunting a problem and not an ally is typical of the most obtuse animal rights extremism which, even in the face of a terrifying threat to the national economy such as African Swine Fever, continues to refuse to consider the precious role of hunting modern as has been done and continues to be done in all EU countries where the ASF problem has been addressed and resolved only with the help of hunters.
The National Wildlife-Hunting Technical Committee
The optimism with which I wish to express my best wishes this year also arises from the reconstitution, after almost a decade, of an organism such as the National Wildlife-Hunting Technical Committee which represents a fundamental tool for truly scientific management of the problems environmental in their entirety, without ideological prejudices and with the concrete and positive synergy of all stakeholders. With these premises, therefore, I return to express to all Italian hunters and their families my warmest wishes for a Merry Christmas and a peaceful and profitable new year (The president of ANLC Paolo Sparvoli).
