Arci Caccia and Federcaccia respond to the protest initiative in Vicenza organized by ACV-CONFAVI on January 25th, “Wrong data and a distorting strategy of reality don't work, THE FACTS COUNT!”.
We have also attended this year, as is now customary, the Berlatian show at the Vicenza fair on Saturday 25 January. Show at the service of the electoral campaign of the MEP which in the spring is expiring in office, but which has obtained a much lower audience presence than in other years. We are not surprised by this: finally the hunters have begun to understand that with demagogy we cannot go on. When you organize paid couriers, when you do the "door to door", when you fill the Vicenza area with posters and flyers it is easy to at least attract the curiosity of the people. For this reason, even if fiercely attacked by Berlato and his companions, we are neither frightened nor frightened. However, we would like to make some clarifications to be honest:
1- of hunting associations recognized as such by the laws of the Italian State there was only one: Enalcaccia;
2- nothing could be more false in the accusations that the Hunting Wildlife Plan released in August by the Regional Council was drawn up by the Councilor for hunting in collaboration with Arcicaccia and Federcaccia.
As the euro-honorable member, who has been in the council, well knows, the hunting associations are consulted, but the plan that emerges is the result of the technicians who develop it and the regional governing bodies. In this way, the proposals that Arcicaccia and Federcaccia, together with the rest of the CRAVN, have developed and presented to improve the wildlife plan have been considered. Some of our proposals have been accepted, as issued by the January council, others are awaiting acknowledgment: even if due to circumstantial opportunism Berlato & C. do not want to recognize it. We also recall that the CRAVN brings together the nationally recognized hunting associations that represent 70% of the 50.000 hunters in Veneto, while ACV-Confavi and Enalcaccia perhaps reach 30%. This is the simplest reason why our proposals have been considered and accepted. And then, isn't it true and it has always been said that union is strength ?!
We would like to underline that the justification given by the Reg.le president Enalcaccia to his managers in Vicenza for which it would have been decided to embrace ACV-Confavi and Berlato only after being kicked out over 10 years ago as president of an ATC in Padua is very strange. by Federcaccia, because his expulsion as president was due to the organization of the "courier" of the hunters belonging to the association with which he collaborates today (ACV-Confavi). Federcaccia approved the expulsion, together with all the other hunting associations, because when an area manager is not able to manage it, it is better that he goes home, regardless of the association he belongs to.
We also want to mention the question of "hunting lodges"? Obviously we do not like the current rule and it is not enough so much so that in Tuscany Federcaccia and Arcicaccia have built a simpler one that the Reg. Council voted unanimously. Why can't we also do it in Veneto? Who caused the first damage to the shed law? Certainly not Councilor Stival. In Tuscany, luckily for them, there is no ACV-Confavi ...
The fact is, however, that on the question of huts, thanks to our awareness and the dozens of assemblies, in some way the "sheds" were able to go hunting again this year. If it had depended on some Euro-parliamentarian they would have had to change hunting methods or stay directly at home!
So let's tell ACV-Confavi, Enalcaccia and Berlato that they can hold hundreds of assemblies like the one in Vicenza, we will continue on our way to defend the rights of hunters.
