- Territorial Areas of Hunting in Tuscany they are the ones who have been making people talk more for a few weeks now. In particular, in June the Constitutional Court decided to reject the regional law which reformed these bodies, therefore the rejection of the juridical body required a profound reflection. The new perimeters must be chosen with the utmost attention, respecting various criteria, including that of sub-provinciality, inter-provinciality and also homogeneity from a territorial point of view (so as not to upset anyone).
La Val di Cecina section of the Arci Caccia association proposed a reform of the ATCs. The goal is to create an area in which the right relationship is established between the hunter and the territory, also aiming at economic sustainability and the aforementioned territorial homogeneity.
Arci Caccia Volterra would like a Territorial Area that is formed in this case by theUpper Val di Cecina (five municipalities in the province of Pisa are included, including Volterra), thehigh Valdera (Ponsacco and Peccioli are among the main municipalities) and the nearby areas of the province of Siena. The entire territory just described has been defined by the hunting association as “undoubtedly interesting”.
