Determined to give continuity to the choices of a lifetime: the theme of safeguarding a great historical heritage made up of courageous choices and planning for the hunting world has covered the many interventions of the managerial framework of theRegional Association of Tuscan Hunters (ARCT) who - in a climate of strong emotional tension and enthusiasm - expressed their satisfaction with the results achieved so far, also in terms of organization and membership.
Fabio Lupi defined an association "on the way", defending the "cultural dignity" of an experience that proved necessary for the protection and safeguarding of that "reformist spirit that has always characterized our association history". These words thus preceded the handing over of the baton to Francesco Rustici, designated by the Assembly and subsequently elected by the Regional Council as the new president and charged with guiding the new team towards the goal of unity and the concrete realization of the common home of hunters in Tuscany. A demanding task in which he will be joined by the two vice-presidents Luca Giusti and Alberto Ratti. Moreno Periccioli, in bringing Federcaccia's greetings, recalled the growth in the capacity for discussion on the themes and prospects of hunting in Tuscany and in the country that have characterized the life and growth of the CCT. A living and vital project destined to include, born "for" and not "against", and therefore not in contradiction with other initiatives such as Fenaveri. «Necessary now» - said Periccioli - «to take decisive steps also on the organizational level, leaving behind controversies and rearguard positions, based on logics characterized more by the defense of the apparatuses than by that of the hunters». Evaluations shared by Franco Bindi, president of the Tuscan ANUU, who underlined the equal dignity between the subjects involved in the life of the CCT, "an association" - the latter - "always able to think about concrete objectives and problems". The secretary of the CCT, Marco Romagnoli, then recalled the many initiatives and the relevant results achieved by the Confederation, from the hunting calendar to the recent amendments to the regional law, from the painstaking work on the regulations to the current strong commitment put in place to defuse the resulting risks. from the revision of the law on protected areas. The secretary of the Confederation, closing his speech, wanted to express sincere gratitude towards the ARCT, "an associative experience" - he said - "which was able to make a valuable contribution to the solidity and growth of the unitary path undertaken by the CCT ".
The focus of the day, therefore, was the role of an associative activism aimed at protecting the interests of all Tuscan hunters. “United we win”, the motto that summarizes the meaning and the reason for the success of the CCT, which rejects controversy and which points, with perseverance and determination, towards the frontier of unity. Francesco Rustici, new president of ARCT, is 31 years old, is a doctoral student and a graduate in literature and philosophy and was president of the provincial federation ARCI Caccia of Grosseto, an association that he recently abandoned to give life, together with most of the other former managers, at the ARCT. At the end of the work, the new president concluded as follows: «Our association was created with the aim of strengthening the unitary process of the hunting world. The challenge we face is concrete and defined: a common path, a common home, a common card ».
