La Bios Sinnai Cooperative, managing body of the Civic Museum of Sinnai (in the province of Cagliari), has decided to propose a course focusing on wildlife which will start in exactly three days, Saturday 3 September 2016. Going into more detail, it is an event that will allow you to get to know and deepen one of the most representative species of the island, the Sardinian deer. The first day will take place right inside the museum and will see participants participate Andrew Soro, expert who will give an introductory lesson on biology and ethology of this animal.
The other days of the course, on the other hand, will have the historical areas of Sardinia, in order to admire the deer populations live. Among the aspects treated during the lessons there will be the morphology of the ungulate, the reproductive behavior, the observation and recognition in nature, management of the species and habitats.
Sunday 4 September it will be possible to go to the Arburense area in order to allow listening to the roar and search for indices of presence. For information and registration you can contact the Sinnai Civic Museum directly: the telephone numbers are 070780516 e 3358091112, while the e-mail address is [email protected].
