La Confederation of Tuscan Hunters presented a very respectable balance sheet on the occasion of thelast general meeting. The secretary Marco Romagnoli spoke enthusiastically about the request for membership by theGame Producers Authority, a positive news because the association represents most of the wildlife hunting and agritourism companies in Tuscany. The inclusive process of CCT is therefore moving forward and the attention towards it is growing.
Romagnoli himself recalled the quality initiatives of recent months, from the pressure exerted on political candidates for the signing of a programmatic document at assemblies aimed at changing the much-discussed Objective Law on ungulates. The judgment, reiterated on more than one occasion, on this regulatory text was always negative and internal proposals will be described to farmers, political groups and other hunting associations.
As for the research, it went very well the migratory game project, useful for improving scientific knowledge and data collection. In this case there will be collaboration with the ACMA (Association of Aquatic Migrant Hunters) and the Club del Colombaccio. Another fundamental element is that of the canine activity, with a series of tests and championships that emphasized the quality of the breeds. The conclusion was very optimistic: "With optimism and determination, therefore, ever closer to the goal of the unity of hunters, in Tuscany and in the country".
