Environment: A new environmental culture conveyed through concrete initiatives and solutions; this is the goal of a design synergy born between subjects from different histories and identities.
Here is the innovative message of the event entitled "Environment, legality, work: projects for a new quality of life", organized by associations from the world of protected areas, from the agricultural, hunting and university sectors, and scheduled for Wednesday 21 January at the Sala del Cenacolo of the Chamber of Deputies.
The environment in which we live strongly influences habits and lifestyles and factors such as climate change, pollution, neglect, widespread illegality and waste of resources are progressively increasing the gap between population and territories, laying the foundations for an inevitable worsening of the overall quality of everyone's life. Starting from this awareness, this initiative intends to offer a moment of proposal and comparison to reaffirm a simple but indispensable concept: the need to seek a new balance between man and the environment, built in legality, capable of generating new opportunities for the economy and the environment. 'occupation.
Hence the desire for collaboration of the organizing associations which, while respecting and maintaining their respective histories and identities, intend to lay the pragmatic foundations for a systemic environmental culture, not made up of particularities and ideologies, but extended to all actors in campo, all equally interested in re-establishing a fruitful balance between man and nature. In this context, some concrete projects and as many pragmatic solutions are presented: the protection of the Marsican bear, the construction of the national register of wild ungulates, the importance of biodiversity and the management of wildlife, the enhancement of food excellence deriving from hunting practices. respect for the law, the construction of a European governance in the field of wildlife.
Each of these initiatives will have concrete repercussions on the environment, legality and work: intensification of the fight and fight against poaching, conservation and prevention actions on road accidents and damage to agriculture caused by some animal species, greater guarantees in terms of food safety and health protection, harmonization of the disciplines of the various European states in the field of wildlife management through common regulations, creation of productive activities in the food sector based on a correct balance between man and nature.
The initiative will be attended by the Minister of the Environment and the Protection of the Territory and the Sea, Gian Luca Galletti, the President of the Environment, Territory and Public Works Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, Ermete Realacci, and the President of the Agriculture Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, Luca Healthy. Considering the convergence of environmental issues with the themes of food and wine, nutrition and health, the initiative will also give their contribution: Beppe Bigazzi, journalist, Giorgio Calabrese, nutritionist and Maurizia Cacciatori, sportswoman.
