There were about ninety aspiring hunters who in these days have positively concluded the hunting qualification exams. Mostly young and adult men, but also some women. The first exam session of the year took place in Province in Cuneo. They returned to the benches in two groups on Monday 21 and Monday 28 June for the written test e an oral on the theoretical part, in addition to a practical test, aimed at the recognition of huntable species and the specific use on hunting weapons. The candidates were 107 and those who have not passed the exam will be able to try it again in the second session in October.
The hunting qualification exam is aimed at verifying the knowledge of the legislation on protection of the fauna and the discipline of hunting, but also on huntable and non-huntable species, the hunting calendar, hunting means, use of dogs, stalking, prohibited hunting methods, related sanctions and procedures, zoology applied to hunting, environmental protection and principles of safeguarding agricultural production, safety and first aid rules.
