Federcaccia Lazio on the pre-opening of the Hunting Season, "worrying silence" by the Regional Wildlife Hunting Committee.
After the unnecessary penalties that characterize the Lazio regional hunting calendar for the 2013-2014 season, imposed on hunters without any technical justification and after last season's hunting calendar had passed the use of the Tar (see our press release of 18 July last), now we can't help but be concerned by the absolute silence surrounding the pre-opening. In fact, a few days from 1 September, while in almost all the Italian Regions, pre-opening to various species, such as turtledove, corvids and blackbirds, in Lazio will take place regularly and with the positive opinion of Ispra, despite what has been agreed in the Faunistic Committee. Regional hunting, all is silent. We are confident that the situation will quickly unlock in the next few days, and we want to believe that it is only a technical delay due to the holiday period, but if this were not the case, it will be Federcaccia Lazio's responsibility to bring its associates and Lazio hunters who will want to unite to demonstrate in a civil but equally firm way, against yet another unjustified lack of attention given to the category.
