Politics is made up of courageous choices and this characteristic must be even clearer and more marked when we go through moments of emergency and uncertainty. An important political and life lesson is that of The Tuscan Regional Authority which put an end to a dark period that as regards the Campania lasted from 23 October 2020. Whether the Act of the The Tuscan Regional Authority it must represent a warning and an example of political courage as well as a watershed in the management of relations between institutions and the hunting world.
For weeks we have been addressing the Campania Region every day and in particular the Delegate Councilor and President De Luca to allow the approximately 40.000 hunters from Campania to exercise the hunting activity outside their municipality of residence but within the territories of one of the six Territorial Hunting Areas of the Campania Region, based on the principle of the so-called "hunting residence" and within Hunting farms and hunting farms with which you are registered and which are located in provinces other than that of your registered residence.
For weeks we have been providing data, statistics, observations, explanations and clarifications on how hunting is carried out in Campania and on how it would be necessary to intervene to allow exceptions to travel. inter-municipal and extra-provincial which among other things have already been granted to categories of a nature similar to hunting such as fishing. For weeks, through the various State / Regions CONFERENCES, we have been clamoring for the application of Art. 2, paragraph 4, letter b of DPCM of 3 November 2020, which, net of the limitations provided, specifies that it is possible to leave one's own municipality to carry out activities that are not suspended (hunting is not suspended) and to use services not available in one's municipality.
(If a hunter resides in a heavily urbanized city, or within an area of a nature park, or in a municipality that does not fall within the territories of its hunting area, or is part of a wild boar hunting team that operates in a district which does not include his municipality of registered residence, cannot practice hunting). We have been living for weeks on expectations, on words, on promises, on phone calls, on videoconferences but now in the light of declassification the degree of risk of our Region and in the face of what is being legislated on hunting matters in other Italian regions, WE NO LONGER WANT PROMISES AND WE CAN NO LONGER WAIT! WE DEMAND a strong political position made up of courage and characterized by an assumption of responsibility.
WE ASK AGAIN ONCE AND THIS TIME PUBLICALLY to the President DE LUCA to issue a Regional Ordinance, like your party colleague from the Region of Tuscany, through which you allow the approximately 40.000 Campania hunters to practice hunting based on the principle of hunting residency, basing the reasons for this request on correct interpretation of Art. 2, paragraph 4, letter b of the Prime Minister's Decree of 3 November 2020. ONLY THREE MONTHS AGO 40.000 CAMPANIAN HUNTERS AND THEIR REPRESENTATIVES WERE PRECIOUS GOODS FOR ALL CANDIDATES TO THE REGIONAL COUNCIL. TODAY THESE 40.000 CITIZENS NO LONGER EXIST! We are willing to provide any further observations and clarifications, but time passes inexorably and we CANNOT WAIT ANY MORE! (The President of Fidc Campania - Modestino Bianco).
