THEItalian National Dog-loving Body (ENCI) he made known what had been decided during the meeting which took place last August 2nd. Five days ago with the assent of the Central Technical Commission it was decided to change the rules relating to the tests for i dogs that are part of the pointing breeds. In a nutshell, the specialist tests involving these animals running single will also be judged by only one expert judge.
As a result, two will no longer be needed. The reference therefore went to article 55 of the ENCI regulation, the one that describes the special hunting aptitude tests, with snipe, woodcock and mountain game as wild. These are work tests that do not attribute qualifications valid for championship titles or for those subjects who are not required to be formally correct.
The presence of the expert judges is an eventuality, as required by a specific regulation compiled by the various specialized associations. Among other things, in these specialized tests some special certifications of hunting aptitude: ENCI evaluates the documents in question as an alternative title for admission to the working class in exhibitions or to the register of selected breeding stock.
