The National Free Hunting Association of Tuscany promotes a Class Action against some regional ATCs for the additional contribution requested from hunters hosted by wild boar hunting teams, even if resident in the same Territorial Hunting Area and in a note from the managers the association hunting we read: “Hunting activity, in Italy, is one of the most harassed activities from the point of view of taxation, as well as from the unfounded prejudice of those who consider themselves environmentalists. That now undue contributions must also be paid, in a climate of recession like the current one, is definitely intolerable ”. "We received a written reply from the Hunting Office of the Tuscany Region, to which we asked for clarification about the contribution requested by the ATC to the hunters hosted by the wild boar hunting teams, even if resident in the hunting ATC - explain the managers -. In short, the Tuscany Region replied that the contribution is illegitimate ”. "We therefore take this opportunity to inform hunting enthusiasts that they are not required to pay this additional tax which is aimed solely at discouraging the continuation of what is a passion but above all the opportunity to live in contact with the environment, in full compliance with the laws ".
"Not only - continues the note - we are rapidly preparing a regional Class Action against this request for contributions, against the ATCs that have requested the aforementioned contribution for each hunting day, we want the money illegally requested from the hunters to be returned, so extraordinary how illegitimate to protect those who already spend huge sums to cultivate this passion ".
“We want all fans to be compensated at least monetarily - the managers conclude - because there is no remedy for moral compensation for all the oppression suffered by hunting enthusiasts. We invite all hunters to support this initiative by contacting us at the following email address [email protected], so that our rights as citizens and enthusiasts are protected ".
