The regional secretariat ofUmbria ofNational Free Hunting Association expressed all his discontent with the way the hunting calendar 2018-2019. The text does not accept the indications of ANLC as an addition to the draft after a careful examination by the scientific committee. They did not like, for example, the absence of exceptions as regards the wild pigeon, the starling and the collared dove, as farmers are complaining more and more of the damage.
Dog lovers, on the other hand, complain that the quail was not included in the pre-opening hunting dates (the first useful date was 12 September). At the same time he was asked to delay the evening closing by just 15 minutes to standardize the regional period, but the suggestion was not taken into consideration. The collection of wood pigeons and corvids from 1 to 10 February, on the other hand, was completely ignored.
One of the few points received, obviously evaluated with great satisfaction, is that of pre-opening on 2 and 9 September, without forgetting the abandonment of the partridge project, considered bankruptcy and expensive. A few days after the definitive adoption of the Umbrian calendar, the discontent is affecting most of the regional hunters: the hope of Libera Caccia is that the Region returns to its own decisions, among other things by removing the block imposed on the issue of authorizations for fixed stalking.
