As disclosed by the Federcaccia of Lazio for the provincial section of Viterbo, i hunters and dog lovers I'm at the very forefront of counteract stray dogs. That's why Saturday 19 May 2018 there will be the so-called "Microchip Day", an event that will take place from 9 to 13 at the municipal veterinary clinic of Montefiascone. The day was organized together with Italian Yugoslavian Hounds Club and will be dedicated to the regularization of dogs without microchips.
This tool is essential for the safety of animals, without forgetting that it is an incredible guarantee of responsibility for the owner in case there are damage to property, people or pets. In rural areas, stray dogs are widespread and cases are widespread in the Viterbo area. Road accidents, attacks on other animals and dangers for passers-by are the main consequences.
The company therefore has to deal with one total expense which cannot be neglected as regards the amount. Federcaccia and the club felt this initiative was right: the hunting association has decided to buy a hundred microchips to be implanted to unregistered dogs, making use of the collaboration of the Veterinary Asl Service of Viterbo.
