As recalled by the Provincial Federcaccia of Brescia, also in the 2016-2017 school year the Lombard section invested in educational projects, aimed at all school levels, from elementary to upper secondary school. In particular, the initiative "Once upon a time and still is a tree, a bird and a hunter" served to enhance the hunting tradition with a series of fairy tales set to music that presented the three characteristic elements of the Valleys.
We are talking about the arboreal flora, the ornithological fauna and the human presence represented by the figure of the hunter. The practical fowling in the roccoli, then, was widely emphasized. Thanks to this study it was understood how hunting still is a point of reference for the plain and the upper Brescia valley: the figure of the hunter, then, is still linked to that of the farmer and therefore the primordial bond has been recovered. Not easy, however, is the recognition of the hunter's activity in multicultural environments.
In this case the recovery has been shifted more to the military axis. The primary objective remains to present the sustainability of modern hunting, able to use the weapon in a conscious way and to procure food. The drawings of the pupils involved brought out this role, a sign that the new generations are overcoming the stereotypes of the last decades.
