Sergio Berlato, regional councilor of Veneto, he said onVicenza HIT Show that is about to begin and in particular on the rules imposed on minors for this fair. Here is what the coordinator of the Brothers of Italy wrote on Facebook: “Unfortunately, this year too we are forced to take a stand against the choices of Italian Exhibition Group regarding the access of minors to Hit Show. The organization has disclosed the methods of access with which in our opinion discriminatory positions were taken, most likely under pressure from usual anti-guns, anti-hunting and of all those political and social aggregations that would like to abolish any activity that they do not share or that, even worse, do not understand.
Let us remember that it is about a sector fair that has international relevance and that the weapons are displayed according to strict safety criteria. It is simply shameful and outrageous to expect a parent to sign a "disclaimer", as if he were taking his child to a dangerous place, when in fact he is entering a fair dedicated to some perfectly legal activities such as hunting and sport shooting, to exercise which it is necessary to be persons with a perfectly clean criminal record and impeccable conduct.
We have even come to think of a sort of "branding" of minors through the distribution of colorful t-shirts to better identify them inside the pavilions. We consider this kind of "morbid" and excessive attention an insult and an attempt to parental blame who intend to bring their children to visit a fair that also takes care of promoting and protecting activities that are part of our history, culture and traditions. We also recall that the weapons for civilian use exhibited at the second Hit Show strict safety standards, in addition to those for specific hunting use, they are used for sport shooting in various categories, some of which are also accessible to minors ".
