Hunting: Campania, the Italian Hunting Union writes an open letter to the hunting associations, the armories and all nature lovers.
Hunting: Campania, with an open letter the Italian Hunting Union addresses the Hunting Associations, the armories and all nature lovers in order to request collaboration to support the petition for the establishment of a regional Wildlife Hunting Observatory.
As is well known, the SVI has promoted a petition aimed at obtaining two results that we consider, at present, to be minimal:
1) Obtain the establishment of a Regional Hunting Wildlife Observatory.
Necessary tool to counterbalance the innumerable gaps in the study of migratory avian-fauna transiting through the regional territory (with reference to the pre and post-nuptial periods) and at the same time counter, with reliable scientific data, to the attacks of that part of environmental associations which, taking advantage of the scientific-normative vulnus, they try, every year, to assert pindaric theorems aimed at reducing and hindering the hunting activity. This Observatory, from our point of view is, therefore, today, a due act that can no longer be postponed in order to guarantee certainty of the right to be able to exercise the ars venandi, in the times and in the manner provided for by the current legislation, without ever having to undergo suspension for the work of timely appeals by the anti-hunting.
2) Obtain the publication and dissemination of all the reports of each session of the Regional Wildlife Hunting Technical Committee.
These acts, in fact, cannot remain only in the secret rooms of the buttons and then be disclosed in bits and pieces according to the needs of this or that Association (or worse, to safeguard the interests of some representative well integrated into the system which, taking advantage of its role, divulges what suits him most at the moment and making his information seem like a "favor" dropped from above when instead it is the hunter's full right to be informed in time of the times, places and ways in which the activity will take place hunting). These acts, in our opinion, should be made public in real time (within 48 hours of the session) using that medium so dear to those who put it in place which, in fact, the official website of the Campania Region www.campaniacaccia.it. In compliance, moreover, with the laws on the transparency and efficiency of the Public Administration.
We would like to underline that this last point has been positively welcomed by some professionals and also by some hunting associations but, as usual, without too much publicity (to prevent the SVI from taking the merits of this request). But anyhow, we are interested in the final result and we do not like the trumpets of the court trumpets, therefore, let it be important and that the end is reached.
In this perspective, hunters should be duly informed that prominent personalities of the Campania hunting world have verbally given their willingness to support the petition launched by the SVI. It is obvious that we expect that words pass to facts and that they proceed, therefore, quickly, to put in place all those concrete and significant acts of effective collaboration for the achievement of the set purpose (this is why for the moment we prefer not to mention them by name and surname in order to avoid posthumous second thoughts on their part and therefore undeserved publicity). As a first concrete act, therefore, we ask him, in a loud voice, to proceed to take an official and public position with a press release (to be disclosed in the press and on sites dedicated to hunting) in which, in clear letters, their intention to collaborate with the SVI If this does not happen then we will have the opportunity to "quote" them in our meetings, assemblies, debates and press releases so that, at that point, the Campania hunters know and, dutifully, draw the necessary deductions and considerations from them.
Having said that, we hereby invite all the Hunting Associations, the Presidents of the Club, the owners of armories, the individual hunters and every nature lover to want to actively support the petition, which is not ours but of all Campania hunters, and we invite them to sign and have it signed so that we can reach a large number of adherents and thus be able to present ourselves to the Campania Institutions with the strength and representativeness necessary to be able to repel the enemies of our passion. For those wishing to help us to help themselves, the text of this petition (with the relevant signature cards) is available on the Facebook page of the Italian Hunting Union.
PS We inform you that all the armories that intend to give us a hand in an effective way (at least 300 signatures) will be advertised, with its logo, on a special page of the SVI website completely free of charge for 12 months. Let me be clear, this advertising should not be understood as a salary for the activity carried out but only as a thank you for the help given to us and to let hunters know who really fights for our passion and who instead limits himself to bar stammering.
cordiality
