Hunting: Campania, the Italian Hunting Union on the maxi-amendment, the Hunting Associations reply with "a denial that has the taste of truth".
For those who fear that the (recognized) Hunting Associations do not do their job fully, we are shown the opposite with a denial to our press release, concerning our firm stance in favor of the maxi-amendment to the regional law. n.26 / 2012, issued on 13 cm and immediately punctuated on 14, by the Unitary Coordination of the hunting associations of the Campania Region. What speed, what promptness, what diligence when the right keys are pressed !! Haste, however, is known to be a bad adviser and taken by the sacred fervor to deny what we have stated, they have obtained the opposite effect of saying half-truths (seasoned here and there with statements, so to speak, "not exact"). That they accuse us of demagogy and propaganda is fine for us, indeed to use a Frenchism: "who cares". The point is, however, that they did not answer only one of our questions, on the contrary, they convinced us even more that we are on the side of reason.
In fact, after the necessary arrows and anathemas to make fear a phantom non-opening of the hunting season due to our requests (nothing more absurd since we are simply asking for the approval of amendments envisaged and wanted by politicians and not by us and then , with a cool head, maybe they will explain to us what the Administrative Courts focus on, which are called to evaluate the legitimacy of administrative acts and not of legislative ones, as is, instead, the maxi-amendment under discussion) here they candidly admit that they are not asking to modify the maxi-amendment in some of its parts, while the basic structure remains intact, but they ask for "the withdrawal of the maxi-amendment and the urgent approval of changes to the regional law only in the censored parts ... by the Council of Ministers".
In a nutshell, they want to clear everything and change only those individual paragraphs that the government has declared unconstitutional of law no. 26/2012. So no re-perimeter of the protected areas in the riverbed by 30%, no increase in mobility days to 50, no Regional Wildlife Observatory (actually not part of the maxi-amendment but of another ready-made amendment that should enter as an integration , however, which is difficult to achieve if everything is withdrawn - instead, we have been asking for the institution of this Observatory for months as a thirsty person could ask for a glass of water), no Regional Commission that has control functions for the correct management of ATC and no decrease in the value of the attendance fee.
It is obvious that the maxi-amendment contains many other proposals and amendments but these are minimal changes, against which it would be absurd for the Hunting Associations to address (eg: 27 paragraphs are limited to correcting typing or syntax errors, 11 paragraphs abrogate dates and terminologies and 25 are limited to simple revisions for a better applicability of the law). or that amendment, but must approve or reject it in its entirety. Here is the problem. If you vote in favor you have to take the good and the bad (which for us does not exist, as further demonstrated above, but which, conversely, for others could mean the end of their hegemony). Result the "monster" (for them) must not pass.
As for the firm stance according to which only they have the right to discuss with the institutions as (by law) they are the only ones entitled to do so, this is an excellent observation. We wonder, however, why have they not used this power, since they know they have it, in the last 30 years to bang their fists on the tables to improve hunting in Campania? Why are they using this power against us and not against those who want to stop hunting? Why punctually, in recent decades, to make us swallow the bitter cup of reprehensible choices have they always denied having any title to be able to defend the ars venandi?
Those who oppose us, therefore, put their minds in peace, we do not want to replace anyone or take the place of anyone, we do not and never will make insurance cards and our hidden hope is to close the SVI as soon as possible because in this chance would mean that, finally, the Hunting Associations have begun to fully carry out their task and therefore we will no longer have reason to exist. They are right about one thing. We are now fishing in the troubled waters but the problem is that we are raising fish of considerable size.
