The "soap opera" seems to have reached its last episode, the Lazio region reversed the question of pre-opening of the hunt. Initially the governor Nicola Zingaretti had decided not to grant it during the drafting of the hunting calendar for the 2018-2019 season. Two days ago, however, the decree that includes it was signed on 1st and 2nd September as early withdrawal days. The species that can be hunted are five, namely hooded crow, magpie, jay, dove and blackbird, without forgetting the opening of September 19 for the blackbird.
For the latter there will therefore be a postponement, as well as for the other animals, with the start moved to 1 October. The new dates are precisely the consequence of the granting of the pre-opening e now the feedback from the hunting associations is expected to find out their point of view. The official and general start of the Lazio season is instead scheduled for 16 September.
Withdrawals must take place from a fixed or temporary stakeout, without canine aid, from the start from 5:35 am and until 19:45 pm. The activity will concern hunters residing in Lazio and within the limits of the Territorial Hunting Area in which they are registered. Finally, with regard to the game bags, they will be 20 the overall fields e no more than 5 as regards the blackbirds and turtledoves.
