Hunting: Marche, the president of IDV at the Region, Paolo Eusebi replies to the Lac on the question of hunting in derogation from the Storno.
I do not want to enter into the petty controversy fueled by the President of the LAC, an association that has as its "mission" the abolition of hunting and therefore not its discipline and regulation as required by national law 157/92 and community regulations, but I believe it is it is only right and proper to specify that already in 2011 the European Commission - the only body competent to evaluate the procedures that activate the withdrawals in derogation - defined the measures adopted by the Marche Region for the withdrawal of the Cancellation as free of defects. I remind those who only remember the things that are convenient for them that in 2012, through the Department for European Policies of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the deed containing the reasons and criteria for the activation of the derogation from the hunting withdrawal of the Storno was previously submitted for evaluation by the European Commission and the regional provision has acknowledged the observations. To those who fight for their beliefs, if they were loyal and correct, even if I did not share them at all, my respect would be given, but I believe that the reasons of the agricultural world not to see themselves too damaged in their work must also be respected (remember that even in Europe, serious consideration is being given to removing the Starling, in dangerous increase, from the list of "protected" species).
I remember that thanks to the intelligent and serious work of the excellent officials of the Hunting Office of the Marche Region and the Regional Faunal Observatory, the sampling in derogation took place after a scrupulous examination, in collaboration with Municipalities and ATC, in those Municipalities that had suffered damage. to crops. Therefore it would be appropriate, in my humble opinion, that the Regional Council continue to follow the path traced in 2012, in the interest of our splendid vineyards and olive groves whose fruits ripen precisely in these periods, using to their partial protection also that passion of our hunters who often (unfortunately not always!) are the real environmentalists and who can be precious, as I hope and how I worked so that they were so in the control of what risks becoming a real plague: wild boars and ungulates in general .
