“The hunting calendar - commented the commissioner Fanelli - is an important tool for wildlife-hunting programming, for the management of the territory, the protection of crops and the balance of fauna. The timetable was drawn up taking into account the observations of Ispra and the stakeholders concerned. In the meantime, we await an urgent decree from the Minister on the slaughter of wild boars. Only with extraordinary measures will we be able to contain the population of this species which is causing considerable damage to agriculture and that it also represents a serious risk to public safety. It is a situation that is no longer manageable with ordinariness as it has reached a serious and no longer tolerable dimension ”.
