Caccia Village 2014, the event dedicated to hunting, fishing and outdoor in Bastia Umbra (PG) is ready to break the visitor and exhibitor records of past editions.
Caccia Village is preparing to welcome 30 visitors, and it does so in style. The 2014 edition of Caccia Village, the largest fair in Central Italy dedicated to hunting, fishing and outdoor life, was presented in recent days at a press conference at the Brufani hotel in Piazza Italia in Perugia. At the speakers' table the president of Fierashow Andrea Castellani, the president of Umbria Fiere Lazzaro Boiari, the president of the Italian skeet shooting federation Luciano Rossi, the president of the Province of Perugia Marco Vinicio Guasticchi and the regional councilor for hunting Fernanda Cecchini. Opposite them an exceptional parterre, made up of the main representatives of the regional and national hunting world. “I thank all the exhibitors, associations and the three Umbrian hunting territorial areas - the words of Andrea Castellani - for helping us to grow up. Also this year we have significantly increased the already high number of exhibitors, arranged in 17 thousand square meters of covered space and 7 thousand outdoors. In Cacia Village there will also be due space for art and culture, while as regards fishing we have specialized in carpfishing, a discipline particularly loved by freshwater fishermen ".
A growth, that of Caccia Village, emphasized a little by all present. “Fans come to Bastia Umbra in search of emotions - said the president Fitav Luciano Rossi - and also in this sense the work of Andrea and his staff has proved to be excellent. While the fair closes in Brescia, the fair is growing in Umbria: it cannot be a coincidence. As a Federation we will be present with our Olympic athletes, starting with Jessica Rossi and Massimo Fabrizi, together with the youth sector ”.
“Caccia Village will exceed the already important milestone of 25 entries registered last year - affirmed with certainty the president of Umbria Fiere Lazzaro Boiari - we feel this in the air and in the number of requests for information relating to the fair that come to us from outside. The trade fair system is on the rise compared to many other market sectors, which indicates the willingness to react, on the part of families and businesses, with respect to the recent years of crisis and widespread pessimism. As Umbria Fiere we have been and will always be close to Caccia Village, which has become the most important fair in Central Italy dedicated to the sector, in line with our strategic objectives ".
The president of the Province of Perugia Marco Vinicio Guasticchi spoke both as an administrator and as a passionate hunter, a regular visitor to the fair: “It is difficult for me to distinguish the two roles when I speak of Caccia Village. Every time I visit it I reveal myself to be a good buyer, also because on no other occasion do I have the opportunity to observe in absolute tranquility the best of the best regarding my passion. As administrator, I would add that Umbria Fiere increasingly occupies a position of commercial centrality at national level. Likewise, as an Umbrian I say 'thank you' to Andrea Castellani for having created such an important event. The big organizers do not always come from Milan or Rome, but - as in this case - also from Spoleto ”.
The intervention of the Councilor for Hunting of the Umbria Region Fernanda Cecchini was also very much felt: “When the fair started, years ago, the final success was not a foregone conclusion. Now it is a splendid reality and this must be acknowledged to the organizers. Unfortunately, the crisis has also affected the hunting world, which has recorded a significant decline in the renewals of hunting licenses. For the institutions, however, the presence of hunters on the territory is very important, because it guarantees us control and attendance of a large part of the regional territory, which otherwise would remain almost abandoned. This is why, for us, the fact that Caccia Villagesi carries out in our region is an even greater source of pride. See you at Umbria Fiere ”.
Finally, the cultural manager of Caccia Village Riccardo Ceccarelli presented the series of events and conferences that, once again this year, will characterize the three-day fair. We will start from the bond between man and dog from prehistoric times to modern technology, to continue with the evaluation of the trophies of ungulates up to greet the Hunt Village2014 with the double by Gino Bartali, the Franchi Imperiale Montecarlo - on display in Bastia - which was commissioned on fit by the legendary champion, passionate hunter. Caccia Village 2014 awaits enthusiasts and professionals in Bastia Umbra, province of Perugia, from 16 to 18 May next.
