Il Municipality of Capannoli (province of Pisa) is about to host the twenty-fourth edition of Valdera Trophy, a series of dog races on partridges and pheasants for the purpose of restocking. The event was organized by Hunting Federation local and will take place at the Sant'Andrea dog training area: the dates are different, that is on 10 and 11 February, 24 and 25 February and 10 and 11 March. Just in March, however, the event will exclusively concern pheasants.
The dogs admitted are those aged within 24 months on the date of 10 February, that is, that of the first race. It will be necessary to certify the tuto with a specific one ENCI certificate or another equivalent document. During each race the prizes will be awarded first three classified in each category: the categories are 8, that is Professionals, English Garisti, Continental Garisti, Hunters (pointing breeds), Young (pointing breeds), Free Search, Hunters (hunting breeds) and Young (hunting breeds).
The tests will be judged by Federcaccia sino-hunting experts, as well as breed experts Spaniel. The regulation to be respected, however, will be that of the provincial Federcaccia of Pisa. Finally, the hunting breeds will compete in a dedicated wooded area.
