The regional section ofUmbria of Italian Federation of Hunting has published an official note to talk about the meeting with the local parliamentarians and other hunting associations. The Umbrian association has promoted several meetings to start a useful path for solving two problems, namely the non-renewal of hunting licenses due to old criminal convictions, and the ban on hunting outside the hunting calendar, as provided for by the law for the management of wild boar and roe deer.
Among the Umbrian parliamentarians who attended were Gianpiero Bocci, Undersecretary of the Interior, Valter Verini, member of the Justice Commission of the Chamber, and Nadia Ginetti, member of the Senate Justice Commission. Various opinions have been expressed on the non-renewal of the licenses: the hunting associations said they were concerned about the serious situation that has arisen, in particular the refusal of renewal after the regular release of the firearms license.
Many sentences, moreover, are also mild, a detail that makes the current situation even more complicated. The hope is to soon have some unitary interventions at the national level.
