The general opening of the hunt in the southern region was set for the day of Sunday 17 September 2017, while the closing will take place on 31st January next year. Hunters from other regions, on the other hand, will be able to take action in the period between 8 October and 31 December.
Specifically, there will be three hunting days every Sunday Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. For residents, then, there will be three days to choose between Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 29 October. Quail hunting will be allowed from 17 September to 1 November, while for common hares and blackbirds the period to be respected will be that between 17 September and 31 December. After reminding the aquatic (October 1st-January 31st) and the larks (October 1st-November 29th, only from stalking), it is also worth remembering deer, fallow deer and mouflons (1 October-29 November, according to the culling plans), wild boars (1 November-31 January) and song thrushes, rock thrushes and cesene (1 October-31 January).
