The governor of the Veneto region, Luca Zaia, signed and published Decree 121 a few days ago which has as its object the limitations of hunting in the Venice Lagoon, more precisely along the canals of Lugo, Lova Cornio and Cavaizza. This is the territory that is part of the Metropolitan City of Venice and the Province of Padua. In practice, the Region wanted to integrate what is arranged in August for the 2016-2017 hunting season.
Point 1 letter A has been reworded, also including the date of next January 30th: in this way, it was established that hunting is allowed on Sundays apart from the third of September and until the last of January, as well as on the day of 30 January 2017.
The other provisions were instead confirmed en bloc and the Agri-environment, Hunting and Fishing Department was entrusted with the execution of the act. The appeal against the deed before the Regional Administrative Court can be presented within 60 days from the date of knowledge, in the meantime there will be the publication of Decree 121 in the Official Bulletin of the Veneto Region.
