As if in these dramatic periods for the economy and employment, Italian and European citizens had nothing else to think about, the MEP of the IDV Andrea Zanoni, once again this year repeats the litany of the danger for Italy to come sanctioned for allowing the application of the derogation regime.
Taking advantage of the lack of knowledge of a part of the Italian public opinion on these issues, the Hon. Zanoni tries to scare the Italians by painting apocalyptic scenarios and hypothetical millionaire fines inflicted on Italy because of the Italian hunters.
To be honest, it should be clarified that the European Union has activated a few hundred infringement procedures against Italy in the environmental field, without for this reason that Zanoni's cronies have ever made epic scenes as they do for hunting.
It should also be clarified that Italy has never paid a euro fine because of Italian hunting and hunters. Zanoni continues to affirm that Italy runs the risk of paying very high fines because of the hunters, behaving like that mother-in-law who, every time the son-in-law goes out with the car, starts screaming warning him of the danger of getting a fine.
According to that mother-in-law, one should no longer use the car, according to Zanoni, one should no longer go hunting. If you drive carefully and if you respect the EU directives there is no danger of being sanctioned.
To fill the knowledge gaps of the Hon. Zanoni and his cronies, it should be remembered that the hunts in derogation are explicitly provided for and allowed by art. 9 of Directive 2009/147 / EEC (formerly 79/409 / EEC).
All the ruminations of those who would like to deprive Italian hunters of this right sanctioned by the European Union are destined to remain mere wishes of those who would like to interpret the Community directives and current transposition regulations for their own use and consumption.
