The World Shooting Championships in Moscow ended a few days ago, bringing 640 athletes from 76 nations onto the Russian platforms. As usual, the shooters of the Fiocchi Team were protagonists in every discipline, collecting a loot of 6 world championship medals: 4 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze. In the women's Olympic Pit, Fiocchi takes the first step of the podium of the Fox Lodge Shooting Range in both the senior and junior competitions.
It is the London 2012 Olympic champion Jessica Rossi to take the gold medal among senior athletes, winning the title for the third time in her career after Maribor and Lima. To share the podium with her, the Slovak Zuzana Rehak Stefecekova, specialty bronze. Among the under 20s, the Italian Maria Lucia Palmitessa, a young athlete of Team Fiocchi, graduated as World Champion.
We also win Gold in the men's Trap, this time in the junior category, thanks to the young Frenchman Clement Bourgue, first among his peers after a “veteran” race. In Double Trap, the race of Antonino Barillà and Daniele Di Spigno ends with a fifth and a sixth place, who are unable to get on the individual podium but console themselves with the Team Gold of Italy. The latest satisfactions come from the men's Skeet : the Italian Elia Sdruccioli, after having triumphed in the World Cup in Porpetto, wins the Silver among the Juniors.
The Olympic champion Gabriele Rossetti does even better and becomes World Champion among the seniors, winning the world title and perfectly sealing our medal table. An exceptional loot, which once again confirms the perfect match between Fiocchi Munizioni and international champions, who choose our ammunition to win. Together to win!
