In exactly three days there will be a new meeting of the Regional Hunting Faunal Council of Umbria. The appointment is scheduled for Monday 3 July 2017 and is highly anticipated for the topics that will be addressed. The convocation was made by Fernanda Cecchini, regional councilor for hunting, with the seat that will be precisely that of the Department. What will we talk about specifically?
The first item on the agenda will feature work of the national technical table for the modification of the National Hunting Law (issue 157 of 1992). In addition to these standards, the issues concerning the wild boar management and the damage caused by ungulates, an emergency that affects many other parts of Italy. The meeting of the Hunting Council had been missing since last May, when the work was very intense for the approval of the hunting calendar for the 2017-2018 season.
In February, however, the agenda was represented by two rules. First of all, we talked about the changes to the Regional Law 14 of 1994 (protection of homeothermic wildlife and hunting), but there was also room for the regional regulation 6 of 2008 (management of the Territorial Areas of Hunting).
