“Even in parks you can hunt”. The announcement of the dinner organized by the “Il Fortino” club of Pisa. In reality we are talking about the selective harvesting of some species of animals, generally ungulates, a practice that serves to maintain balance, since it is impossible to maintain them without a "rational" human intervention. In exactly two days, Friday 29 April 2016, the evening will be dedicated to the cooking of game or, as indicated by the Tuscan club, to hunting meat. The San Rossore Natural Park will offer precisely the raw material, that is to say the wild animals coming from the killing of withdrawal campaigns, useful for ensuring balance without damaging the environment.
A portion of the proceeds will be used for charitable purposes. What will the menu be offered to the participants? The cooks have decided to prepare maltagliati with wild boar ragout, roast deer with potatoes, as well as toasted bread with venison liver pate and to conclude, fallow deer terrine. Before dinner there will be space for a conference on the cycle paths (at 17 to be precise).
The dinner will start at 20 pm and, once finished, the space will be dedicated to readings of famous pieces. The event has a cost of 18 euros, a contribution to the Pisan club. As pointed out by Andrea Gennai, Director of the San Rossore Park, “In the Parks there is no hunting because it is prohibited by law. In the Parks, the supernumerary species that threaten the ecosystems are checked. It is done with methods such as captures or with selective control by park operators or persons in charge, perhaps even professionals. They are two different things and I want to clarify it".
No I'm sorry the message is incorrect. In the Parks there is no hunting because it is forbidden by law. In the Parks, the supernumerary species that threaten the ecosystems are checked. It is done with methods such as captures or with selective control by park operators or persons in charge, perhaps even professionals. They are two different things and I want to clarify it. Yours sincerely.

Good morning,
I am the author of the article and I apologize for the misunderstanding: the phrase "Even in parks you can hunt" was taken from the website of the Club and I wanted to bring it back as it was written. Thanks for the clarification, I proceeded to correct the piece to avoid misunderstandings.
Best regards
