THEItalian National Dog-loving Body (ENCI) announced the dates of the "Alectoris Graeca" Trophy, an important appointment with regard to the zootechnical checks provided for by the herd book of the purebred dog. The trophy has as its objective the identification and selection of mountain dogs suitable for the search for rock partridge. The calendar will start next February 17 and 18, to be precise a lucoli, in the province of L'Aquila.
It will then continue on March 3-4 (Cinisi-Palermo), March 10-11 (again in Lucoli), March 17-18 (Lucoli again), March 24-25 (for the fourth time the Abruzzo town will act as scenario), on 14-15 April (Fracture of Scanno-L'Aquila), up to 3-4 November, when you return to Cinisi. This canine event therefore includes a circuit of zootechnical selection tests for English pointing breeds. The duration is annual and to compete for the final ranking it is necessary to take part in at least 50% + 1 of the scheduled days.
The best score in the ranking will allow you to win the trophy, without forgetting that there will be a special prize, the "Breeding Trophy", to be assigned to the poster holder who has obtained the best score, calculated by adding the scores of the individual subjects. Finally, another trophy will go to the conductor who for that two editions (even if not consecutive) will have won the annual trophy, even with different subjects.
