Following the commitments arising from the Regional hunting conference, the institutional process continues for the reorganization of the regulatory framework on wildlife and hunting and on the guidelines relating to the drafting of the new Regional Hunting Wildlife Plan. In particular, the Regional Council of Tuscany has established two important references; a scientific committee that will have the task of providing guidelines and evaluations on issues related to the wildlife management and on the planning objectives and a technical-legislative table, more focused on the regulatory changes to the Regional Law 3/94 and the implementing regulations.
Especially on the second front of commitments, a series of proposals are being prepared which, in due time, will lead to definition of a new text of the law reform of LR 3/94 and implementing regulation 48 / R overcoming some limits which, in the light of experience, have been highlighted in these years of application. Role and functions of ATCs, definition of a governance that distributes competences more fully between Region and ATC, the procedures for the establishment, transformation and revocation of public and private wildlife institutes, the compensation system for damage caused by wildlife, etc., are just some of the main points of verification and reform that must be addressed in this process. The aim is to approve a renewed and better defined legislative framework by the end of the legislature, together with a binding document for the drafting of the future Regional Wildlife Plan.
In addition, there are also other problems to be defined in the short term. Among these, there is the proposal to approve the resolution for the hunting of wild boar hunted in an area not suitable for the period included. between October 1st and December 31st. The aforementioned provision must be strongly reconsidered with respect to the previous draft proposals, reaffirming the centrality and discretion of the ATC in the organization of any jokes and the involvement of the teams present in the districts bordering the non-suitable areas concerned. On these and other topics, the work of the assembly of the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters. An important step to better define the proposals that will be presented with the approval of all the Confederate Associations.
The works will be introduced by Marco Romagnoli, CCT secretary, in the presence of the members and presidents of the confederate associations. Following will be made specific communications on regulatory aspects and legislative amendments proposals. Finally, the assembly will focus on the analysis and developments of the unitary process. The results achieved, both from a political, organizational, communication and service point of view, are highlighting the great growth of the unitary project represented by CCT and the quality of a work now widely recognized by various stakeholders, hunters and institutions.
