Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 February 2016 were the two days in which the sixth edition of the FIDASC Grand Prix dedicated to Milena Goffi at the refuge area of Bagnolo San Vito, in the province of Mantua, and in the Azienda Faunistico Venatoria of cavriana (always in the Lombardy province). The event was combined with another sixth edition, namely that of the Lombardy President's Cup, which is reserved for members of the federation only. The drivers who participated in the races reserved for continental races were 40, with the judges Fulvio Titonel, Aldo Morandi, Omar Canovi and Antonio Pietro Nurra to assign qualifications.
In the lands chosen for the development, game was abundant and put the skills of dogs and handlers to the test. The same FIDASC has published the results and rankings of the four heats in the race. In the first heat the kurzhaar Zar was first with an Excellent qualification, followed by another kurzhaar, Thor (2nd Excellent) and by Birba (3rd Very Good), all led by Samuele Mascanzoni. In the second battery, Epagneul Breton prevailed Wall by Stefano Valcanover (1st Very Good), while the third battery was dominated by Dana de Preslies (drathaar, 1st Excellent) with Aldo Mancini as conductor.
The fourth and last battery saw Epagneul Breton excel Gao de Keranlouan (1 ° Excellent - CAC) conducted by Mauro Pezzulli. The latter dog also won the sixth Milena Goffi Trophy: the animal and Pezzulli have created a strong and perfect combination, given that Gao was "crowned" best Brittany Spaniel of the entire race. As for the English races, on the contrary, they took to the field on Sunday: the 53 drivers alternated in three heats and the race was dominated by rain and strong wind, conditions that have complicated the work of dogs.
There were three valid heats and in one it was not possible to draw up the ranking due to bad weather. The award of the trophy was a two-way question between the English setter Nadir led by Giuliano Pasotti and Sorsoli's Naike (also an English setter), which was led by Pierluigi Sorsoli. The Pasotti-Nair duo prevailed in this case, also because Naike granted herself a license beyond the allowed time limit. Ulysses Longinotti, number one of the Pro Bixia company, thanked Giuliano Goffi for the prizes up for grabs, the judges and the conductors who participated, while the greetings and thanks of the FIDASC president Happy Bouillon they were brought by the federal councilor Luigi Bravi.
