On the occasion of the stage of the Skeet Shooting World Cup, Thursday 28 April a Lonato The 44th edition of the Sporting Specialized Shooting World Championships was presented to be held in Orvieto from Thursday 14 to Sunday 17 July at the Orvieto Shooting Range facilities in Il Botto. Present the President of CONI, Giovanni Malago, the President of Fitav, Luciano Rossi, the Mayor of Orvieto, Roberta Tardani, the Councilor for Sport of the Municipality of Orvieto, Carlo Moscatelli, and the mayor of Lonato del Garda, Roberto Tardani. The four days of competitions will see the presence of athletes from all over the world and will be preceded from Saturday 9 to Tuesday 12 July by free practice and the General Assembly of the Fitasc / Fédération Internationale de Tir aux Armes Sportives de Chasse scheduled for Monday 11 July at the Palazzo del Popolo.
The inaugural ceremony will be held on Wednesday 13 July in Piazza Duomo. The organizational machine, in collaboration with the Federation and the Orvieto Shooting Range, has already set in motion to guarantee a show on the competition fields and in the city and we are sure that Orvieto will once again prove that it is up to date with events of this kind ”.
